Hello, I am Avery Falash and I am currently a sophomore at Mountain View High school in Meridian, Idaho (Class of 2020). I have a 3.5 GPA and am in several challenging honors classes. My two favorite classes are acting and film making. These classes give me fun opportunities to show off my personality and creativity. In acting I try to be a future Marlon Brando and in film class I fancy being like Spielberg. Outside of school I love to travel. This past summer I was fortunate enough to play golf at St. Andrews and also got to see the final round of the British Open at Royal Birkdale.
I really got serious about golf four years ago. Ever since then I try to play and practice every day to get better. My current handicap is 1.5 and have a 75 scoring average. It's been a dream of mine for a while to play at the next level. It would be a great experince and I would be able to get a college education while doing what I love most. I intend to get either a degree in Landscape Architecure or in Professional Golf Management. I would be able to turn my many sketches of golf course designs into a reality with one of these degrees.
My parents instilled in me a disciplined work ethic. Quitting on anything has never been an option. I've always been a team player, and try hard to be a good leader among my peers - especially when times get tough. I think I would be a great fit for a lot of teams.
