Lawrence Fu '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Lawrence Fu and my ultimate goal is to play professional golf and college golf is a vital part of my preparation.  I am 5'8" and 170 pounds. Outside of my high school golf achievements(which are listed in the high school section of my scouting report) I have won 2 California Junior Tour events in 2006-2007, 1 Future Collegians World Tour event in 2007-2008, and 4 Junior Golf Association of Northern California events.  In, 2011 I have had 2 top 10's in AJGA competition, one 2nd place finish and one T8.  I was medalist at California State Amateur Qualifying at Bayonet.  I won my high school league championship.  I have finished T7 at the amateurgolf.com Bay Regional and T8 at the Marin County Amateur.  I received 1st place honors for my black and white charcoal drawing among all freshman in Art 1. I've played piano for 4 years and performed in front of my fellow piano students. I practice golf everyday, love to do it and it never gets tiring. I always put my best effort into anything I do because I seek to perform at my best. I would love to play college golf in California, preferably northern because of the weather and it is close to my family. However, I am open to offers across the nation because I want to play college golf at the highest level.  My desired major is in the business field. My ultimate goal is to play professional golf and I feel I can achieve this because of my work ethic and desire to play at the highest level.
