My name is Tim de Silva, and I am a Senior at Palos Verdes High School in Palos Verdes Estates, CA. I want to play college golf at a college or university with a strong golf program and a reputation for academic excellence. I am a hard-working person on and off the golf course. I have a 4.4 GPA, I practice golf 30-35 hours per week, and I hold a part time job as a sales associate at Plaza Golf in Torrance, CA. My practice schedule focuses on short game (70%), ball striking (20%), and playing the course (10%). My short game is my strength and allows me to post solid rounds. I was the MVP of our High School Team and made the All-League First Team and All-Area Team, both Freshman and Sophomore Year. As a Sophomore I won our Ocean League Individual Championship. I am looking forward to the recruiting process and identifying the school where there is a mutually beneficial fit!
