I am a 5'11'' senior from Encinitas, CA (San Diego) and will graduate with the class of 2013. I have had a golf club in my hand since I was 4 years old, but in the past 3 years have really dedicated myself to the sport and have come to love it. I was on the varsity golf team at La Costa Canyon High School last year as a sophomore. During the post-season, I qualified for CIFSD as an individual. My handicap has dropped from a 6.0 to currently a +1.2 in the past 12 months. I recently was named NCJGA Player of the Year for 2011. My GPA is 4.6 Weighted, 4.00 Non-Weighted as of 2nd Semester Junior year.
My goal is to attend a school where I can play golf and have an immediate impact on the team. In addition, I would like to maintain a balance between athletics and academics. Having lived all my life in San Diego, CA it would be ideal to remain in southern California, where the climate is conducive for golf year round. I would also be open to attending colleges in Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Texas, and Idaho. Financial aid is going to be very important in the selection process.
September 22nd, 2012 I shot my career best 67 at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, CA. I made 7 birdies during the round, 16/18 greens, 29 putts.
October 20th, 2012 I made a hole-in-one on the 200 yard par 3 4th hole at El Camino Country Club in Oceanside, CA. I finished the round with a score of 69 which is my 4th score in the 60s in the last 60 days.
