William Yang '15 Recruiting Profile

Golf, this sport means so much more to me than just a game that millions of people play. I was blessed to be introduced to this game at a very young age and it has taken me to some amazing places and allowed me to meet some of the most inspirational people. I didn't realize my passion for golf until I started to play in more golf tournaments and during that time I picked up on football.

I'm a Christian believer and constantly look to God for guidance. I believe that God is always with me and looks over me in whatever I do.

I began playing on a golf team, which lead me to play for my high school team. We are one of the most prestigious high school teams in Southern California. Throughout two years on this team, I have been challenged to strive for greatness, and learned many lessons along the way. High school has taught me how to balance golf and academics which I intend to carry on to college.

My dream is to play on a college golf team that will continue to challenge me and allow me to grow as a player. I believe that through teamwork and perseverance anything is possible.
