Making the state tournament as a freshman was a very exhilarating experience. The state tournament really taught me a lot about where I was as a golfer. I went into the tournament with a big head in soon found out I was not near as good as I thought I was. This caused me to practice in the summer every day for at least four hours a day and caused my average to drop tremendously. My sophomore year of golf season I average the within the top five in every match I played in my sophomore year of golf season I average is within the top five in every match I played in. With a nine hole average of 38.8 and an 18 hole average of 81.8 on the year, I won the Arkansas 5A West conference tournament. This made my character as a golfer grow tremendously and realize that practice may not always be fine but it will always pay off in the long run. It also made me realize how much I really enjoy the game of golf. With my hard work and dedication on the golf course and in the classroom I feel like I could be a great student at any college. I get along with everyone and I am very outgoing when it comes to meeting new people I get along with everyone and am very outgoing when it comes to meeting new people.
