Christian Mickels...Personal Statement
I am a 6’2” shooting guard from Cheyenne, Wyoming. I am a 4.0 student taking Honors Biology and Honors Geometry. I will have the opportunity this year to play varsity minutes as a freshman. I also have over five years of club basketball experience competing at the highest levels.
I am looking for an institution where I will be challenged both in the classroom and on the basketball court. I plan to pursue a degree in education, with the aspiration of becoming both a math or history teacher and a high school basketball coach. I am open to attending any university or school that will afford me the opportunity to pursue my dream of playing college basketball, to include the NAIA, DII, and DIII levels. I believe hard work, preparation, and accountability are the three elements to success.
