I learned the most about basketball and what it means to be a leader my freshman year. My varsity team went 1-22 and we didn’t have very good chemistry. We were good players, we just couldn’t come together and play as team. I learned that a good leader needs to be willing to put in as much, if not more, effort as his teammates to make himself and everyone better. Now in my sophomore year, I’m looking to make everyone on my team better.
As I progress through my High School career, I am looking for a college that will challenge me academically as well as athletically. I believe I have the talent, leadership skills, and work-ethic to be a good fit to your program and make an immediate impact on your team.
