My aspiration as a basketball player is to not only play, but to excel at the collegiate level. As a student, I am seeking a college setting where I will be able to pursue a topflight education that will help prepare me for a post-college professional career. I was recently selected to the all-conference team for the 2013-2014 season. As a member of your team, I will bring leadership skills, an unmatched work ethic, and a variety of offensive moves and defensive intensity. My strengths as a player are primarily shooting, ball handling, defense and court vision. In addition, I bring a strong basketball savvy as well as a positive attitude. I have the capabilities to take defenders off the dribble and finish around the rim but look to set up my teammates. I am a much better player than the stat sheet represents. Having only played in a high school program for the past two years after playing soccer for most of my life, I have had to learn the game very fast by being coachable and loyal to the basketball program. I am looking forward to playing college ball and receiving my degree.
