Personal Statement
Basketball is everything to me. I eat, sleep ,and wake up to new basketball challenges everyday. I don't know what I would do without it. I most of all thank God for my talent and hope to get better everyday. My order of life is God, School, and then hoops. One day I want to be better than all of the all-time greats, including Michael Jordan. People don't think it's possible but I do. People treat Michael Jordan like he's some basketball god, or god period. When I get to the NBA I want to beat all his records. Unlike other people I hate being compared to Michael Jordan. When I'm done playing basketball for good I want to leave my own legacy. I want to say when it's all said and done that I finished my career my own way. Watch me work!
I've accomplished to much to not believe in myself. I've won 4 state titles, hold the record for most assist in a single game, and earned scholarships to attend a private academy for my skills. There were times I wanted to give up but nothing will ever get in the way or stop me from hooping. I've developed a lot of mental skills also on my journey. Leadership, courage, wisdom, and faith. - AwardsI made AB honor roll, and got outstanding performance certificate in math for the 2007-2008 school year.8 years later i got AB honor roll for the 2nd 9 weeks for the 2015-2016 school year, and last but not least the 2016-2017 school year I got a certificate for being of the top students in Health & Physical Education.
- ActivitiesI the second highest rank in in Pathfinders. I'm a TLT and that's all I want to be. I precipitate in band class. I play the trumpet. I am a deacon at my Seventh-Day Adventist church and I also do many more activities around the church. I am also apart of the Abney Chapel Media Ministries team (ACMM). I work on the camera on Saturdays. Sometimes I work on the Sound board in the sound room
