I just completed my freshman basketball season at Southern Virginia University and am looking to transfer closer to home. While I did not get significant time at the Varsity level I was able to start on the JV team that plays against good and tough Junior College teams here in the area. At the shooting guard/forward position I averaged 21 points,10 rebounds and 3 assists a game (in 9 games). I am a great shooter at all distances but also can get to the rack. I have put more of a focus on defense and rebounding and this year I have improved greatly in these areas. I am looking to transfer closer to my home state of Utah at the Junior College or Division 3 level for at least a year. I am looking for a team that I can come in and start and play big minutes for right away. With my level of commitment and determination I am fully confident I can do so. I am a very hard worker and striving towards my goal of continuing to play basketball and to be able to play ball closer to home. Last semester at SVU I obtained a 4.0 gpa and am on track to do well again this semester.
