My name is Brody Baker and I am a member of the Class of 2017. While my physical characteristics might not fly off the chart at you, I still bring a lot to the table. I am a motivated and extremely hardworking individual. I spend countless hours in the weight room and gym working on my craft trying to make up for what I like in size. Through the years I have worked diligently to develop an all around game. Despite this, I still continue to work to find new ways to improve. As a player I take pride in doing the little things; boxing out, diving on the floor for a loose ball, etc. I am never one to back away from a challenge. I invite the task of stopping the other team's star player of a nightly basis. To truly evaluate me you would need to see me in action. I may not stuff the stat sheet or have numbers that are through the roof, but I effectively lead my team and display toughness in all situations.
Off of the court, I understand the importance of getting a good education. I am aware that one day my body will not permit me to play basketball at as high of a level as I may like, but when that time comes, I will still have my schooling to fall back on. My grades speak for themselves. I maintain a 4.0 GPA and am ranked 10th in my class of approximately 325 students.
I encourage you to check my game out sometime, but I assure you that I have far more to offer than just statistics.
