Enclosed is this letter and I have a copy of one of my game films from our win in the District Final for Division I basketball this past March 2012 that I can send to you upon request. I (#34) finished the game with a double-double to help our team win the game. We had 4 seniors and I, as a Junior, for the starters all year long. We finished the year 21-3 and 7th in the State of Ohio. I averaged approximately 7 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists per game and started all 24 games. Our team ultimately lost in the regional semi-final to Pickerington North by 2 points, who went on to win the Ohio Division I State Basketball Championship. I am very interested in attending a University and play college basketball. I am a 6’ 5” senior graduating in June 2013. I am the lone returning senior starter for the Olentangy Liberty High School Basketball team in the Columbus Ohio area. Our head coach, Gregg Nossaman (567-224-0714), says he will be looking for me to be a leader and to carry the team this 2012/13 season. I have a 3.75 GPA and had a 26 on the ACT in October of 2012. . I hope you will view my profile, and watch my short basketball video from 2011 summer AAU ball and this past fall 2011 as a junior in scrimmages before the league games started. Summer of 2012 proved to be exciting. Our Liberty basketball team had our Team Camp at Eastern Ohio Basketball Camp owned and operated by Mr. Larry Huggins (Father of Bob Huggins) in June. Varsity went 35-1 in 36 (20 minute) games and we were crowned the champions of the camp from 36 teams. On top of that each head coach had 1 vote for a player in camp to make an all-star team to play in Las Vegas. I received the most votes and was elected to play on the all-star team. I also was voted one of the top 100 high school players in Ohio by the OHAAA and attended the coaches camp in the Spring. After reading this note and watching the video, I hope you will contact me for a possible visit.
