Ethan Harris '13 Recruiting Profile

My name is Ethan Harris and I am a 6'6" Sr. at Mount Gilead High School. I am a 4 year varsity letter winner in both basketball and track. I currently hold my schools 300m hurdle record (39.58) which, I set as a junior in high school. Also, my sophmore year I was awarded All-District 11 Honorable Mention in basketball.  I was awarded All-District 11 2nd team as a junior and senior.  I was also named 2nd team all conference.  The coaching staff of the Mansfield News Journal selected me as the number one player in the draft.  I have also been chosen to participate in the District 11 All Star Game.  I received All-Ohio Honorable Mention as a senior.  I was also named Academic All-Ohio my senior year.  I am also a three time district champion(2012) in the 110m hurdles, 300m hurdles, and 4x4 relay.  I earned All-Ohio honors in Track and Field in the 300m hurdles.  I also earned academic All-Ohio honors in Track and Field. I would say that my best qualities as an athlete/basketball player are my upside as a not yet fully filled out 6'6" athlete and that I am a renaissance athlete. In other words I am able to do a little bit of every thing, I can run, jump, play multiple postitions, be a facilitater, or a scorer, but the main thing I am out to do is win.
