My goal is to earn a full NCAA Division I/II or NAIA scholarship so I have the opportunity to earn my degree while playing college basketball at a high level. I love playing basketball and do so every chance I get. Last year, as a Varsity co-captain, I averaged 12.0 points on 39.5% shooting with 4.9 rebounds, 2.4 assists, and 1.2 steals per game as a junior.
I currently have a 3.7 GPA but have developed better study habits so a 4.0 is attainable. I also plan to continue playing high school baseball where I will be on varsity as a left-handed pitcher, catcher, and outfielder.
I attend a private school, Carroll High School in Dayton, Ohio which is known for building character. The teachers challenge us to recognize the needs of others and find ways to help. This summer I will be joining a group of my classmates as we assist those in Dayton who need help with their home, food, and faith.
In July 2012, I attended Point Guard College where I learned a great deal about how to use my knowledge and ability both on and off the court to be a better person, student, and athlete. Every time I am on the court I strive to play my absolute best while also bringing out the best in my teammates.
