As a student athlete, my goals are to receive a great education while doing what I love, playing basketball. I know that my playing career may not go very far beyond college; but if I go to an institution where I receive a solid education, my education along with basketball can open many doors. Beyond college, I look to maybe become a coach and help teach the game to other aspiring basketball students. What I bring to a team is a high basketball IQ: I can manage a game and change the tempo. I also play as a coach on the floor knowing all 5 spots and their responsibilities.
Freshman Year: Nov/Dec/Jan I played 3 quarters freshmen and played 2 quarters JV. In February, I became a starting JV guard playing 4 quarters and 1 quarter Varsity.
Sophomore Year: Made Varsity team and worked into the starting line-up, contributing 5-11 points per game. Unfortunately, I broke my shooting hand Jan. 2nd while diving for a loose ball. While I did not manage to play much the rest of the season as my hand had to heal, I have worked to regain my shot. I have had a great AAU season so far this summer '16, scoring typically between 10-20 points per game, with a high game in Nashville of 36 (and 10/12 from three). My shot is back and I am working to continue to improve my versatility. At the June West Virginia camp our team was runner up.
