Mitch Miller '12 Recruiting Profile

My name is Mitchell Miller. I am currently in my junior year at Hunterdon Central Regional High School. Hunterdon Central is a Group 4 (3,200 students) Blue Ribbon School of Excellence. I come from a very athletic and supportive family. Both of my parents played college athletics. I have been involved in sports since I could walk. My family encourages athletics as well as academics. I currently have a 3.3 GPA, I am also involved in a number of community service activities. I am 6 foot 5 inches and 185 pounds, my vertical leap is 35 inches, and I am quick. I am viewed as a leader and decision maker on and off the court. I also play quarterback for the JV football team and I am a member of the volleyball team. I am the first one in the gym and the last one to leave. As a team player I do my best to get all teammates involved so that we are successful as a team. I love the game of basketball, a number of key characteristics about myself is that I constantly hustle, I play hard-nosed defense, I am a team leader, I can score off the dribble, I have a smooth jump shot, I can take it to the hole and I will consistently get rebounds. My aspiration is to play college basketball while pursuing my academic goals. I am open to any geographic location within the U.S. Regarding my college experience, I am looking for a school that has a great tradition, a good community and has excellent athletics and academics. Every time I step on the court I have one goal, and that is to play at the best of my ability and lead my team to victory whether it be from playing great defense, scoring or getting rebounds. I view myself as an all around basketball player that would be an asset to any team that I join, as well as, any school I attend.
