I love basketball so much! I have goals and aspirations just like a bunch of kids in the world. My whole life I've been through trials and tribulations, with my mom and my 4 sisters. This is bigger than life, this is a test from God! I'm so motivated to do so much in life and I won't quit until I pursue my dream. All my life I've never stopped working until I lived out that expectation out of myself. When I was 3 I went to the park everyday. I always would try to make it into the regulation sized hoop with a men's ball! I practiced and practiced at the park with my mom and I finally got it, man was I so happy. That's how I fell in love with basketball! My goal is to be the best shooter in the world and to be the one of the smartest, talented, loving/kind young man I could ever be. Growing up without a father figure has been hard but I've been learning on my own, my moms been teaching me well! I want to go to state and take my team there, I want to get a scholarship for college, and heck I know I'm not suppose to mention this........ But I want to go pro! It's been my dream since I was 3! Now I'm a freshman and It's time to start stepping up to the line and live out my dreams!
Since 2nd grade I've known what it's like to be a leader on the court! Especially in junior high, I had to lead my team! Even though we didn't have the best season, we did pretty good for what we had. For 2 years of my junior high, I played on the A team. I remember when I was in seventh grade and there was 30 seconds left! The coach put me in on A team to hit a game winner, I shot it with 22 seconds left and I got blocked by this 6'0 foot eight grader. At the time I was about 5'7, but from that day forward I knew what I had to do and I'm motivated. I want to go to college and play basketball and I would be pretty blessed if I got any colleges to view me. I also understand about academics, I'll do my part and keep my grades up. I've always been a hard worker in school and even though I hate math I've done pretty well in that. My eight grade year I was in algebra 1 and it was awful but I finished out the 4th quarter with a B and I was angry with myself I was aiming at a 3.90 GPA. I understand what I need to do to get to where I wanna be!
