Jackson Hiester '20 Recruiting Profile

I am a 6’3” freshman shooting guard/small forward at Mater Dei High School in Evansville, Indiana.  When the school season is over, I get the privilege of playing basketball for Indiana Elite S.W.I.S.H.  I have had numerous successes on the hardwood with my school team and AAU team, but my goal to play college basketball continues to fuel my desire to improve my game.  You will not find an individual more committed to maximizing his innate abilities to become a better student athlete.

I try to challenge myself both on and off the basketball court.  Academically, I am taking all honor classes and have a 3.81 GPA.  I also help lead the Teen Advisory Council.  This council focuses on youth-led leadership development and community service projects in a drug/alcohol free environment.  I realize academics will be my foundation for success after I stop playing basketball.  To that end, I am looking for a college with an exceptional athletic and academic reputation regardless of the school size or distance from home.  Words cannot accurately reflect the commitment and desire that I will bring to your basketball program.
