As with most college applicants, I have several dreams and goals. I understand that sports at the collegiate level is a commitment to play my best for my teammates in order to represent our organization to the fullest. I am committed to the endeavors that I undertake as evidenced by my status as Eagle Scout in the Boy Scouts of America. Becoming an Eagle Scout was a goal that I set for myself when I was very young, and I stuck with it and did the work required to be successful when I was 15 years old. I have learned determination is a good character trait, as determination in school and sports has made it possible for me to be in the position that I feel I will be an asset to any team that wants my talents. I am determined to be committed to the team that I join in the same way. Determination has helped me with my learning challenges to make me an honor student. This determination has enabled me to dream about careers and goals that would not be possible without it. As a current high school sophomore, I am interested in the sciences and engineering, with career choices in the health care field, possibly Physical Therapy. I have not decided yet on a final field of study and want to attend a university that will provide the basics that I need to pursue these fields of study. I am determined to achieve my dreams with hard work, commitment and vision.
