Jared Morris '12 Recruiting Profile

Hello I am Jared Morris.  I am 6' 2" tall.  I weigh 200 lbs.  I run a 4.9 40 yard dash with average to above average foot speed.  I am a lefty shooter, which coaches seem to love for some reason.  My main attributes are that I have excellent court vision and I can shoot the ball exceptionally well. My strongest shot is the 3 pointer.  Another attribute that does not show up on a stat sheet is that I am a very hard and diligent worker.  I have a strong work ethic and am willing to put in the time and effort to get done what needs to be done.  My junior year, I was named first team all-conference and MVP.  My aau team made it all the way to the state finals and got 2nd.  We advanced to the nationals down in Orlando, FL.  It has always been a life long goal of mine to play basketball at the collegiate level.  I do not really have a preference on where I go to school as long as I am playing basketball and doing what I love.  I hope to major in secondary education or physical therapy.  I would love to come in and start and play as a freshman, but I am also a realist.  I realize that may not be the best thing for the team and myself.  I am willing to put in the time and effort it will take for me to better myself and the team.
