C.J. Neville '19 Recruiting Profile

Hello coach, my name is C.J. Neville I'm a 6"2 160lb combo guard in the class of 2019. I’m a redshirt freshman at Blackhawk College Moline IL Under coach Darren Bizarri. I played AAU ball for the Quad City Elite (Team black) under coach Darren Bizzari. I participated in the Quad City Elite program for four years and played travel ball 7 years. I've been playing basketball since i was three years old and have had a love and passion for the game ever since.

I knew at a young age I wanted to play college ball and understood i would have to work my butt off to do so. My varsity senior season in high school 2016 I started and averaged 18 ppg Whatever my coaches needed from me I gave them 110% I was very versatile in my role providing scoring,rebounding, assist and defense. I'm a combo guard, I can handle the ball well make plays and create for my teammates. I can also play off the ball and serve up some buckets on the opposition in several different ways as you can see from my highlights.

Im currently averaging 14ppg in my redshirt freshmen season at Blackhawk College.

I feel my best asset is my athleticism and my ability to score in transition and attack the basket and finish at the rim in the half court set. I continue to work daily with my trainer and on my own on my skill set and honing my point guard skills. I work 3-4 times a week on my strength and conditioning so i can continue to get faster and stronger.

Off the court i continue to maintain a 3.0 GPA and strive to give 110% in the classroom as I greatly understand the importance of a good education. I plan to continue my education after junior college and pursue a degree in Business Management. I feel I would be a great fit for your program because I possess the attitude, consistency, dependability, work ethic, skill set and athleticism of a winner/leader and those characteristics I would bring each and everyday on and off the court.
