My name is Garrett Gadeke from Quincy Senior High School/Western Big Six All Conference First Team. I am a 3 year varsity player; 2 year varsity starter. Basketball is the only sport I play and it is my passion. I am a competitor, hard working and devoted to the game. I play a tough physical game in the post with a good mid-range game and can stretch it out behind the arch. I work very hard at developing my game and I will continue to do so at the collegiate level. I study the game of basketball in order to become the best player I can be. I've watched many YouTube videos on footwork, how the players at the next level train, and I take that to the gym. I have a good work ethic and a high basketball IQ.
I am an Honor Roll student, selected for the Leadership program my Junior year and participate in community projects through my basketball program at school. While I am at college I hope to achieve 2 things: first I want to get my degree in business and I have thought of becoming an accountant, and second, I want to play basketball for a program that is best for me. I play basketball the way I look at life, no one will live your life for you just like no one will play basketball for you. So you get out what you put in. Unseen hours in the gym and a lot of sweat!
