I cannot remember a time in my life when I haven't played basketball. My drive has always been to play collegiate basketball. With relatives at least 6'8, I would say height is in my favor. My shot is smooth, with great form and I'm told I am exciting to watch, I am a team leader on and off the court and enjoy being a mentor and role model for others to follow. I have very strong work ethics and look at every play as the last play of the game. My goal is to attend College and play basketball while focusing on my grades to eventually make it to the NBA draft or continue to play overseas in Europe. My focus has always been to help others that are younger in age learn the skills and drills that I have acquired to help them succeed. I presently train with a player from France and a Division 1 coach who says i am ready to play D1 and also work with tutors for my academics. I am considered the "shooter" on every team i play on, and now that size is on my side i have excelled at rebounding, block shots and steals. I want to play for a college that i can continually improve my skills and get optimal playing time. In AAU i play 100% of the time as well as High School ball, so the coaches rely on me as a team leader. My recent game i scored 19 points, 14 rebounds, 7 assists, 2 blocks and 2 steals.
Most games that I play, is not uncommon to shoot 5 for 6 threes, 6 for 7 threes and shots are from collegiate distances. Coaches also rely on me to shoot the free throws for technicals. I believe in hard work, practice and dedication to a sport I love will help me achieve my dreams and goals in life. I know if a coach gives me the opportunity to prove my capabilities they will be very surprised and satisfied at the outcome.
