Personal Statement

Ever since I first picked up a basketball, I have dreamed about competing in college against the highest level of players. I hope to play college basketball one day with a team that holds one another accountable to the very best standards of playing as a team. I would be a fantastic addition to any team as I possess a highly-competitive nature, meticulous work ethic, high basketball IQ and a positive attitude when playing the game. I feel like I have enough athletic ability to play at the college level. I separate myself from others by putting in more hours in the gym and never letting an opportunity to improve pass by me. My goal is to be the hardest working player in practice and in games. I have always focused on being a complete, all-around player that is dominant on offense & defense, which I have been recognized by coaches, teammates, competitors and opposing coaches for being this type of player. I've also been recognized for having ice in my veins, while hitting many buzzer-beating and game winning shots. I truly love basketball and I have experienced a lot of success and joy in the awesome game of basketball!

In regards to academics, education is also a high priority to me, as I was the valedictorian of my eighth grade class. Just like basketball, I have always given my best efforts to maintain high grades and reach my highest potential. I push myself by taking all honors and AP level classes, achieving High Honor Roll all through high school and being a 3-Sport Athlete. Additionally, I am a member of the National Honor Society.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
