Since second grade, basketball has influenced me in all aspects of my life. I have learned how to work for what you want, communicate, and how to handle adversity. After my junior year in high school, I learned that I have the ability to bring people together and lead by example. I love the game of basketball and I try to express that passion in an appropriate manner on and off the court. By doing so, I have been able to lead my team and teach them to love the game, and create bonds with each other that will not be broken. Within my long career of basketball, I have learned many things: nutrition, basketball IQ, communication, injury prevention and many more. Although, the most important thing basketball has taught me is to never take anything for granted. This is why I try to have fun and play hard every time I step on the court because I want to make the most out of what basketball can do for me. I plan to receive a business degree from whatever college i attend, and if professional basketball does not look like an option after my college career is done, then I will already have a Plan B, and C set up.
