Personal Statement

Thanks for taking time to view my profile and watch my videos. I play basketball with energy, passion and purpose. I can score at all 3 levels and I have a great shot off both the dribble and catch. I earned a starting position on varsity this season as a true freshman, averaging 15pts. I was also the Defensive Player of the Year for the Jones Eagles. Season highlights included earning a trip down-state as a semi-finalist in the IHSA 3pt Shootout (the only freshman in class 4A to make it that far.)

Buzz: I'm blessed to have serious interest coming from University of Illinois at Chicago and 6 other D1 colleges are following me here on NCSA (25 schools in all). It's still early, but I'm excited and motivated even more than ever.

Why I think I'm different.

In terms of uniqueness, I think I'm different because I'm a right handed player with lefty tendencies. It's hard to know which way to shade me because I love going left too. I'm also a proven tough defender and I take pride in that.

I score the ball at all 3 levels.
I take pride in being a great defender (Defensive Player of the Year 2017)
I have excellent court vision and passing ability.
I give maximum effort at both ends of the court.
I'm a good teammate and very coachable.

Accomplishments

Named to the All Tournament Team in Battle of the Bridge Thanksgiving tournament.
Named #31 in Illinois by PrepHoops, among highest in shooting guards for 2020 class.
IHSA 3pt Shootout Semi-finalist (the only freshman in class 4A this year, 2017)
