Goals and Aspirations

My goal is to be recruited to play college basketball while earning a degree in bio-engineering. I feel as a bio-engineer, I can apply my love for biology and engineering to create products that in turn solve real world problems. Another major goal of mine is to use my education to travel the world as an engineer to experience different problems and scenarios throughout the world. 

What makes me a good candidate?

As a freshman on my high school varsity team, I made the most of any minutes on the floor this past season.  I always strive to get better by working with a trainer and working out with my teammates.

Growing up, my coaches, teachers, and other parents have always told me that I was a natural born leader without even trying. I believe it is my responsibility to take on this role to help out my friends, teammates, and family in achieving their goals . On the court and in practice, I use this ability to help my teammates understand complicated plays and drills that may come easy to me. 

What makes me different from other recruits?

On the court I've always been stronger than other kids my age. For this reason, as a freshmen on varsity, my coach has been able to play me at the 4 and 5 because of my offensive skills and strength guarding bigger players. In addition, my ball handling skills and shooting ability allowed me to become an inside and outside threat on the court. Throughout all my years of school, I have maintained at least a 3.95 GPA while never receiving a referral , suspension, or disciplinary write up.
