Losing in the quarter final round of states my sophomore year has helped me grow as a player. It's taught me to be more of a leader and grow tremendously on the court. Although my high school team loss this year in the state championship game, I have noticed a difference in how I play and the leadership skills I brought to my team. I've always been determine to work hard. Not having my father in my life and being raised solely by my mother had taught me to be positive and no matter what work hard at everything you do.
I've been playing basketball since I was 6 years old and at the age of 9 I started playing in my town's recreation league. I've always loved the game. During my spare time you can find me somewhere playing basketball whether it's on the black top, or in a gym, my passion and love for this game is strong. I'm looking for a collegiate basketball program that will not only push me beyond my limits athletically but academically as well. I believe because of my personality and my growth as a person I can compete on the collegiate level. My work ethic, My leadership skills and my commitment will carry me far. And I could be a great asset to your team.
