I love basketball. I enjoy going to the gym to work hard so I can get better at my game. I am eager to learn. I am a team player. I know that basketball is more than just the baskets you get in. It is important to utilize your teammates so the team can succeed- not just the player. I am very enthusiastic about the game. I believe that God gave me the ability to play basketball as an opportunity to share His love and encouragement with others. It is easy to get along with teammates when you are winning, but it takes character to get along with your team after a loss. I think it is important to critique your own game first before you think about what your team did wrong. Everyone is going to have an off game. It is up to the team to make the adjustments if they notice someone is "cold."
I strive to keep a 4.0. Although my goal is to play in the NBA, it is important for me to do well in my studies so I am prepared in case an injury happens and takes me away from the game.
