I am a senior at Merrill West High School and primarily play point guard on its varsity basketball team. I also serve as captain. I love the game of basketball and have always been very athletic. I am 6' 1" and weigh 170 pounds.
I am a 2012-13 first team All-League selection and led the league in assists with 164. I was named West High Basketball's 2012-13 Most Valuable Player. I am also a 2011-12 All Defensive Team selection. In the same year, I was named West High Basketball's Most Improved Player. I am a great example of good sportsmanship on and off the court.
My dream is to attend a college where I can receive a good education while showing my leadership abilities on and off the court. I am willing to attend any college that offers a strong academic and basketball program.
My academic goal is to earn a bachelor's degree, although I am undecided on a major. My athletic goal is to play basketball at the next level where I can make a positive difference on the court.
