Torian Parmalee '17 Recruiting Profile

I am Torian Parmalee. I am in my senior year at California High School, in San Ramon, California. I am a current captain on our Varsity Men's Basketball team.  I know I would be a good candidate to be on your basketball team because, I am a leader. I am passionate about the game of basketball and team is always first.  I was also leading scorer and rebounder on our team this season. I was named offensive player of the year and All League Honorable Mention for the 2016/2017 Season. 

I feel I grew the most as a student-athlete my Junior year when I moved to California and, I was the new student/player.  That experience helped me grow as a person and lead me to re-focus my  efforts on becoming a solid point guard capable of playing at the college level.

I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership throughout my years of playing basketball. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work-ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program. I know I have what it takes to be a leader on your team and to be a positive asset on and of the court!
