Lewis Dudley '15 Recruiting Profile

As far as goals go, I would have to say my biggest aspiration would have to be to play at the next level. Since freshman year I have completely committed myself to becoming the best player that I can be and to this day I continue my training regimen. For the past 3 years I spent my days disconnected from social media and from my friends in an attempt to be the best I can be. I would wake up at 8 to do vertical jump training, ball handling drills, and jump shot training. I may not be the tallest player, but I am sure that I have the best work ethic and the most commitment to individual training. I think what sets me apart from most other recruits is that they might lack the will to do whatever it takes to get better. They were gifted with talent from birth and never really had to work as hard as I did. In 2013 I was 5'2 and spent hours researching ways to get taller. I have grown 8 inches in these two years and since then I have stretched every night before I sleep and completely changed my diet. I do this because I am not satisfied with my height and i know i can grow even more. Just like my skills on the court, I know I am pretty talented, but I will never be satisfied until i am the best, and even then i will continue to work. No matter where I end up next year, I am completely confident that I will be a top level player because I know that I will put in the 110% effort that is required to reach that level. Overall I would have to say that I am a perfect fit for most programs because I will go to the extreme just for an oppurtunity to play and get better as a player.
