Christopher Edward '14 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christopher Edward, I am a Junior currently at Claremont High School in Claremont California. My freshmen year i played on the freshmen team. My position was a center. I was team captain and MVP. My sophomore year i started on varsity, playing the power forward sometimes but mainly the center. This year I am team captain. I work hard at practice and I do not like when people don't take practice seriously and get us in trouble. I have a certain expectation for my teammates during practice and games.

I am an honors student; i have taken honors since my freshmen year. I am taking an I.B. course this year. I.B. Sports and Exercise. My cum GPA is 3.2 GPA. Last year my weighted GPA was 3.18 and unweighted was 3.08. I have not decided on a major yet but i am thinking about sociolgy, and sports exercise.My dreams is to play basketball at a college, I would love to do this without having my parents have to pay. I would also like to go to a college that would possibly have one of my majors listed above.

Before basketball practice I volunteer at a Youth Activity Center. This is a place for kids to come and hangout. I am there for about two hours every school day after school.
