As a child, I played baseball, soccer, football and basketball, and continued to play football through my sophomore year in high school. Most recently, I realized that my skills and love of basketball are stronger than any other sport and I made the decision to concentrate on developing my skill level on the court. Playing sports has developed me into a leader no matter where I am. I enjoy having less experienced players look up to me and I also love motivating my team whether it be by a play I make or a statement I say to them. I am a strong finisher through contact and can step out and hit a three point shot. I love to play defense and block shots. Playing sports has taught me the importance of education. I never had anybody to actually teach me the fundamentals of basketball until I entered freshman year of high school. But since then I have had the opportunity to train with Coach Winston Crite, and continue to develop my arsenal of moves. I have learned about the value of my hard work in the classroom. It allows me to play basketball during high school and increases my chances of moving on to the college level. I would love nothing more than to play basketball while receiving an education. I am extremely hard working and dedicated to playing basketball and working hard in my studies.
