I am a junior this year at Aptos High School, and I am working hard, both academically and on the court, inorder to play basketball in college. I have held a 4.0 gpa since 7th grade, and currently hoping to get a 4.67 this year because of my 4 advanced placement classes (AP). As far as my dreams, goals, and aspirations, my biggest dream is to play D1 basketball at a top academic school. Sports and school are currently my primary focus and to be able to succeed in both at the next level would be the greatest accomplishment of my life. My 6'9" dad is my role model as he played basketball in college at the University of Alaska, was a 2 year All-American, and kept up his grades. He then went on to medical school and is now an orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. My 6'0" mom was also a basketball player, but stopped in high school when she went to UCLA to study premed and then go to medical school where she met my dad, She didn't stop with medicine, she went on to get her law degree after being an obstetrician/gynecologist for 14 years. As you can see I am trying to complete both of my parents accomplishments, and maybe even more if i can. I am a hard worker, and I am always looking for a challenge.
