Personal Statement

My main goal is to start and play basketball at the college level. I try my hardest to lead on and off the court and would love the opportunity to lead a team at the collegiate level. I would not shy away from leading a team, I would motivate every teammate have to do his best on the court as well as off the court. If I ever see any team/class mates acting up in school or out of school I encourage them to make better choices.  I watch out for them and help them as best as I can. I work hard on the court as well as off the court in the classroom and in life.  Another goal I have is to finish collage and get a degree.  I aspire to reach a point where I would be considered to play at the NBA level. Something that separates me from other athletes is my work ethic.  I go out and run everyday to make sure I'm in the best shape to compete.  I go to the gym almost every night and put up 250 to 500 shots, always around 80% accuracy at the three-point line. I also work on my ball handling skills, as the point guard for my team I need to keep my skills sharp. I am a family kinda of guy I love spending time with my family.  During college I would love to have a basketball family to learn from and play basketball. Something else that separates me is my competitiveness, I hate to lose and you will not find another athlete that has more of a desire to win. I will do anything I can to help the team win, you can count on me every day to give my 110% effort and make others around me better. I'm always the last one to leave the gym after practice. I also stand out from other athletes, because of my academics I'm a straight A student and strive daily to finish my four years of high school with a 4.0 GPA and do the same in college while playing basketball. I can bring a great attitude, work ethic and ability to your team. Thank you for your consideration.
