Troy Patterson '21 Recruiting Profile

I would like to have a chance to play basketball at a higher level after high school. While in college I would like to pursue a career in Physical Education, Sports Training or Coaching. I believe in having a high moral character. I believe in teamwork. I am a very involved member of my church. In addition to basketball I also love to sing and am a lead vocalist in my church youth band and a winner of my middle school talent show. I feel there is no place for athletics or extra curricular activities if academics is not at the top of the list. I am proud to have maintained a 3.9-4.0 GPA for all 3 of my middle school years. I hope to continue that trend in high school. I also was a member of the National Jr Honor Society, Student Government, and maintained a 4.0 average in Algebra 1 (a high school course I was able to take as an 8th grader). The basketball accomplishment that I'm most proud of is having a 100% free throw percentage for almost 3 years. I am very excited to start my high school career this fall.
