Hello I am Rejos. But I prefer to be called José. That name was given to me by my 6th grade defensive coach, people called me that in the football field. So, the name stuck, and I kind of liked the name and kept it.
I was born in Nepal. My parents used to live in a refugee camp in Nepal before they had me. They had to be refugees in Nepal for about 18 years , where they were forced out of their motherland (Bhutan) due to ethnic cleansing policy of the Royal Government of Bhutan. They had to leave all their land and wealth and flee for their lives. My parents and I moved to NYC, NY when I was almost 5 years old, when US government offered a third country resettlement opportunity. My family lived in NYC for 2 years after they decided to move to Vermont. My little brother Rewaj was born when I was 7 years old.
I attend Rice Memorial High School currently. I played JV my freshman year, and suited for varsity since preseason. I got in a couple times on varsity this season. I won defensive player of the year for my JV team. That makes it three years in a row that I have won DPOY for the team I played for. I was also chosen to be a captain for my JV team. That's four years in a row I have been captain of a team I played for. I am a great student athlete and have been focusing to build career in sports. If you give me a chance, you will not regret it, as I will play my heart out for you.
