Jacob Mitcham '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a 5"5 running back and middle linebacker from Fort Worth, TX. My seventh grade year I earned the award for Most Valuable Defensive player. I just completed my 10  game 8th grade season with about 16 running touchdowns and upwards of 60 tackles; I also forced several fumbles due to hits and trying to strip the ball while tackling. For my next season I would like to build up my speed to be able to make more plays on the field and prove myself to my coach so I may get more playing time in highschool.

I have been on the Junior National Honor Society for two years and I have a GPA of 4.0. 

I am looking for a college where I will be successful in the classroom as well as on the field. I would like a university with an outstanding academic reputation. Ideally, my athletic environment would be fun, yet challenging and competitive. I bring a positive attitude, willing spirit, never give up attitude, to the team, and I help my teammates do what they are supposed to do on and off the field.
