I started playing football when I was eight. I enjoyed the thrill of the game. Football was a thing my dad, who is the biggest reason why I play football, and I both did together. When I played I did not expect to play past that year. However, in my seventh grade year I stumbled upon middle school athletics and played in the football program.
Playing football that year led me to discover parts about myself I never knew, such as being goal driven, or the fact that I could do so many more things physically, when I put my mind to it. It also changed my academic goals from just trying to pass, to working even harder in the classroom than I did on a football field. For high school I have the same philosophy, work harder in the classroom than any field.
