My name is Knox Scoggins, and I am a 14 year old 8th grader at Liberty Christian School in Argyle Texas. Football is a game that I love to play, and I plan to use this great game as the vessel to reach my goals. My goal is to earn a scholarship to play football at the college level in order to get a degree. I am an A-B student with a great work ethic, and strive to be the best that I can be. I lead by example by giving my all on the field. I am open to a variety of colleges and universities, and have the desire to compete at the highest level possible. I am a highly competitive player that is very coachable, and I know that I will fit into any program well.
I also play basketball, and run track. Last track season, I participated in the triple jump, long jump, 110 meter hurdles as well as the 4X100, and the 4X400 relays. I have played baseball at the AAA level, and plan to play again in high school as a pitcher only.
I was selected as the NextGen Dallas camp MVP, and was recognized as the only 8th grader to compete in the Diamond division in “The Show” which is the NextGen’s 7 on 7 showcase tournament. At the USA Football camp in Dallas, I was blogged as a top performer. I was also named to the FBU-All Top Gun Team 2017 for the class of 2022.
