My goal is to continue playing football in college. Football is my passion but I realize that regardless of how far I can go playing the sport, football ends. After football, I would like to stay connected with the sport in the field of broadcasting or perhaps coaching, where I could have the opportunity to pass on what I have learned and hopefully, play a part in helping someone else achieve their dreams. .
I have played football since I was 7 years old. Ever since my first practice, I have always wanted to play QB. Playing for and winning championships in youth football and in middle school has only increased my motivation. I am fortunate to have family that has supported my passion. I began working with a QB trainer as an 8 year old and attending developmental camps, not because it was what my family wanted but because it is what I wanted. Work ethic was instilled in me at a young age. I realize that there will always be someone bigger, faster and smarter, but no one will out work me or do more to support their teammates. I live by a value I learned at the National Football Academies, passio bellatore (suffering warrior). I want to be the best I can be as a student athlete and a man, not just for myself but for my family, team and community. I know that a college education is key to achieving this end.
