Hello there! My name is Gavin Taylor and I am a student-athlete at Brookland-Cayce High School in Cayce, South Carolina. I have been playing football since I was 10 years old, playing center on my little league team. It was not until my 8th grade year, when I played Defensive Tackle and Fullback, that I truly wanted to play football collegiality.
My work ethic has helped me to reach great goals in life and now I’m working towards another goal, getting recruited. I am a quite leader on and off the field and i hold myself to a higher standard. I keep myself from distractions and I am very attentive when listening to others. In the classroom I work even harder, keeping my grades up and earning honors along the way, including earning high school credits in French 1, English 1, and Algebra 1, being inducted into the SC Junior Scholars and National Junior Honor Society, and being the only student in my school to pass in both categories on the PSAT in my eighth grade year.
My main goal is to get a scholarship to a school where I can both play football and get a good education. I want to find a school that is right for me and I can comfortably learn and play through.
