Personal Statement

I have loved playing football since I was first able to join a Pop Warner team as an eight year old.  Loving the game has made it easier to work hard at it and improve. The hard work is starting to pay off.  I have just finished my junior year season where I started at running back and strong safety and led my team in rushing and was third in receiving.  In addition to my work ethic, explosiveness and strength—I have bench pressed 300 pounds—so far my strongest attribute has been my able to learn new techniques quickly.  This capability has enabled my coaches to play me in multiple positions in critical situations.

Although I love playing for New Hope, I am also proud of my selection by USA Football for 3 International Bowl National Teams (2013, 2014, and 2015).  USA Football has given me the opportunity to learn from some of the best coaches in the country and play with some of the very best high school players in the USA.  I have also shown my versatility at USA Football playing outside linebacker, strong safety, cornerback and even wide receiver.

As a junior, I am learning about colleges and where I can best fit as a student athlete.  I plan to continue to work hard both athletically and academically so that I can be prepared to play at the highest level possible.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
