Hi. My name is Caleb Smelcer. Im a junior at Allen East High School. I have been involved with football since 4th grade. I'm in the weight room everyday and play basketball and run track to stay in shape all year around. For extra curricular activities I have been a 4-H member since I was 9 years old.I have held the office treasurer and vice president in the club.I compete with my horse at a State level with barrel racing. I consider myself a very goal oriented and competitive person. My life motto is attitude and activity is everything.
Some of my highlights for my 2015 football season were as followed. I broke the school record for most receiving yards in a game against Delphos Jefferson with 183 yards receiving who ended up being the conference champions. I came back and broke that record against Columbus Grove with 188 yards receiving and was named athlete of the week. I made first team all conference cornerback, 2nd team all district, second team all conference running back, and I was second leading receiver in the conference.
