Hello, my name is Jay Sambois. I am a 6 ft 220 pound senior at Bloom Carroll High school. I am blessed to be able to say that I have been able to play the game of football since 7th grade and have loved the game since my first practice. This sport has changed me in so many ways, teaching me the importance of leadership, teamwork and the importance of having a strong relationship with my team. I am a firm believer that the most important part of the sport is the off season. I pride myself in the fact that I am the type of kid that will be in the weight room the monday after my last game of the season. The off season to me, is where the hardest work needs to be put in to prepare for the season. Unfortunately, I suffered a season ending injury this season week 3. It has been a constant struggle knowing i let my brothers down and not being able to play next to them. I can guarantee that i will bounce back from this injury better than ever. There are few things i wouldn't give to continue to play football wherever I can, and will work very hard to do so.
