My name is Daniel Byron Jackson and I have been playing organized football since the 1st grade starting with Flag Football. In the 2nd grade I started playing tackle both wide receiver and defensive back and have continued through my senior year in High School. In 2015 and 2016, we won the OHSAA Division III State Championship. Playing football in high school and being part of a championship team has taught me that when faced with a challenge you must adjust, in football as well as in life.
I am a two-sport athlete and some of my track highlights are 22.2 - 200m, 22’6 Long Jump”, and 5’10” High Jump,
I volunteer at the Akron Rotary Camp each year because I like to share my gifts with those that need a little help. I can also do standing back flips.
I am looking for a college where I can be successful both athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character and work-ethic, to make an immediate impact on your program.
