Ronald Beard '17 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Ron Beard. I aspire to study Physics in College as well as play football in college. I am currently a junior at Commack High School. I am 6'0" and weigh 165 lbs. I ran a 4.82 on the 40 yard dash at the Nike Football The Opening Rating Day.  As a sophomore on jv I started every game on defense, offense, and kick/punt return and i won offensive MVP partly because I scored the most touchdowns out of my team.  On varsity this past year I was able to get 1 interception, a bat down and many tackles. I love the game of Football and strive everyday to get better and better by staying after practice to run routes with my quarterback or going to the weight room to get stronger. I am a reliable and dependent player on and off the field. I will be able to keep my grades up because ever since i was a 7th grader my mom told me to do a certain study schedule and it has payed off because i have maintained a >3.2 GPA. I am able to learn new things quickly and have no problems excepting criticism from other people. I am open to any type of college available to me and the college can be any division, as long as I can continue to play the sport of football.
