The sport of Football has become a very important part of my life ever since I started playing at the age of 8. I am very passionate about playing Football as for me, Football is a way of life. Playing Football is a part of who I am as it gives me discipline, dedication, and a sense of comradery with my fellow teammates. When I entered 9th grade at CHS, I was moved up to the JV team where I played both starting positions on offense and defense. In 10th grade I was moved up to Varsity where I had starting positions on both Offense and Defense. In my junior and senior year on Varsity I continued to play various starting positions on Offense and Defense and Special Teams. My main starting positions are left tackle on Offense, Nose Guard on Defense but I can play any position that is needed on the Offensive and Defensive line. I believe it is very important to watch film on the upcoming teams we are playing as well as watching film on my previously played games to further improve my technique and ability for future games.
I strongly believe it is important to be a well-rounded student. I have also been playing Lacrosse since the age of 12 and I was a player on the CHS JV Lacrosse team in 9th and 10th grade. I also am very active in the CHS Music Department. In 9th grade I played the role of a Harvard Student in the CHS musical production of Legally Blonde. In 10th grade, I played the role of Cinderella’s father in the CHS production of Into the Woods. In my junior year, I played the role of Uncle Henry in The Wizard of Oz. I am a member of the CHS Singers and the Bella Voce groups. I am a member of the Tri-M Music Honor Society. I am a member of the Concert Choir a select group of singers chosen by audition. In March 2015, I traveled to Italy with my CHS Concert Choir to perform at the Vatican, Basilica Di San Andrea and Saint Stefano Al Ponte Churches. Our Concert Choir performed on the Good Day New York Show on April 10, 2015. We also performed the National Anthem on June 17, 2015 at Yankees Stadium.
I have maintained a high honor roll status since my freshman year and currently hold a 4.0 GPA. In my Junior year I was inducted into the CHS National Honor Society. I believe that being a great student first is very important in achieving any of your goals. With that being said, my first and foremost goal is to play College Football. I am willing to dedicate myself to the sport of Football and to do what it takes to be the best asset to my team and my future football coaches.
Thank you for your interest,
Sincerely,
Ryan N. Sahle
